The Gelos Auction House will conduct a broadcasting of the Russian art auction in London and in Paris. On May 19 and 20 in London the regular Sotheby's Russian Sales will be carried out. Naturally, during this time the interest to the Russian art on the world antique market is higher than usually, and not only in London and in Russia, which directly participate in these processes, but also in all "antiquarian" world, that watches them attentively. There are several reasons for it: firstly, the Russian art is a very perspective branch of the antique business, secondly, the Russian antique market is capable of paying and every year is getting more capacious and, subsequently, more attractive for the foreign antiquarians. On May 19 at 5 p.m. (London time) after finishing of the Sotheby's auction (first day, New Bond Street) the Gelos Auction House conducts the Russian art auction "Moscow-London-Paris" with the direct broadcasting to London (the Westbury Mayfair hotel) and to Paris (Ambassador hotel). About 100 collection level articles of the Russian art will be presented on the auction, their quality and value accord with the collection of Sotheby's Russian sales.

It will be observed, that it is not the first experience of broadcasting organized by Gelos abroad. On December 1, 2004 Gelos held with success the "Russian Evening" in London. Taking into consideration the positive experience and the opinions of the participants of the arrangement we have decided to make such transmissions a tradition. But, in distinction from the previous auction, that was rather a "playing" one, on May 19 in London a proper auction with the possibility to participate directly from London will be held. The time of arrangement is chosen not by accident, because, in our opinion, the collection that we present and the event planned in general may be interesting for the participants of the Russian sales carried out during this time in London.

This event will be our first experience in Paris, and we do not intend to carry out the proper sales, we will only provide the direct broadcasting and reception of absentee bids. Nonetheless, it will be an unusual and interesting event that will undoubtedly attract the attention of the French antique market. The auction "Moscow-London-Paris" will be held in the auction hall of the Gelos Auction House at the address: Russia, Moscow, 2/6, 1st Botkinsky Proezd.

The auction "Moscow-London-Paris" provides the possibility for the absentee participation for the collectors from Russia and the near and far abroad countries. Soon the internet catalog of the auction will be displayed on the site gelos.ru and over 2500 visitors of our site will be able to see it. In order to attract more interest to this event before May 19 the sales will be conducted in the regime of the internet auction (reception of the absentee bids).

The illustrated catalog will be issued for the auction "Moscow-London-Paris".

Some lots of this sale are in Russia and can be freely moved abroad (including all lots of the Charity String) according to the Russian laws. Some lots are the items being in Europe and they can be freely transported all over the world. And several lots of the auction are the antique items of the Russian art, they cannot be exported from Russia. The Gelos's program on May 19 also includes the "unofficial" part. During the evening the guests will be offered the courses of the Russian cuisine, sophisticated musical accompaniment and traditional Russian tea-party. The guests will be able not only to take part in the sales but also to share their impressions, discuss the topical and perspective subjects, and have a rest in the pleasant atmosphere.
